Customer Satisfaction Study (Agro-chemical)

Our client is into business of manufacturing of crop protection chemicals (pesticides) and various types of other chemicals (like fertilizers, seeds, etc.). They have the ability to develop new processes and formulations supported by the capability to register new products. They have introduced a novel, IT led farm advisor service for farmers that would help the client to leverage on their agri-expertise, and connect with farmers in a better way. The client was interested to understand the feedback on this initiative and areas for improvement from farmers. The study helped in understanding overall perception about the client and its products and price acceptance of the advisor service among farmers.
OUTCOME OF THE STUDY

  • The customer satisfaction index was found to be 74%
    Voice SMS, Weather SMS, Crop Seminar were found to be the top 3 most useful services
    Re-subscription rate was also found to be high farmers were unhappy with water and soil testing
The Study recommended the client to focus on physical connect activities and also provide more useful & quality information to the farmers for the next crops. More visits from crop advisors, communication in regional languages and maintaining same rate for re-subscription was suggested.
