Background of the study

The client is one of the largest Indian private sector engineering and project consultancy and an emerging global leader in integrated engineering solutions. With the experience of 10,000+ projects in more than 55 countries, they are amongst the top two consultants in its core sectors - Power, Infra and Resources is a well- diversified firm with equal distribution between domestic and international projects.

The challenges surfaced when the client observed a spike in employee attrition rate at multiple work locations. To overcome this challenge, they decided to onboard a third-party consultant to evaluate the current situation and suggest a corrective action plan to fix this issue.

Outcome of the study
  • The overall Engagement index is 75, which is fairly good and has shown improvement of 5 points compared to the last study and improved employee safety measures and Team & Co-worker relations were the major factors.
  • The concerns were observed in the compensation program, rewards and performance management which is impacting on the employee engagement levels.
This customized study enabled the client to develop a sustainable talent management strategy and suppressed the current employee attrition rate.
